How practical would it be to remove ESA?

I'm sure ESA is a super tricky option to have on a hexhead, but it is a very expensive option to buy, and as far as I know, to repair when the time comes. So much so, that I'd opt for Ohlins. So, assuming that some riders will consider removing ESA instead of replacing the shocks when they are worn out, I was wondering how difficult it would be to remove ESA from one of the new R12's.

Replacing ESA shocks should be easy. What about "pulling" the wiring? How about turning off the dashboard ESA display? Will there be lights indicating a problem with the ESA? What about the computer? Is it going to detect a problem like a failed ESA test?

How practical is it going to be to remove ESA if an owner wanted to?
