mig
Hey guys and gals: Just have my 2007 RT for 2 weeks now. Love the bike. Got a question about protecting the cruise control switch during the rain. I ride everyday and park outside at work. just wondering if any had problems with water intrusion into the switch. Almost looks like rain will drop right into the switch. Thanks Miguel Link to comment
Firefight911
Don't worry about it. It is designed to perform in all conditions. Link to comment
Haynes
When I've taken some switches apart the operating parts have all been plastic and brass. None of your other switches are sealed so I think that you shouldn't worry. Link to comment

Robus
After I wash the bike, I give a few blasts of compressed air around the control switches and ignition slot from one of those canisters you buy to dust off your keyboard. Also helps to quick-dry the lower inside parts of the windscreen that I can't reach with a rag. After rain, honestly I haven't worried about it. Link to comment
