BMW Alarm System

I know this topic has been covered but a search didn't come with an answer to my question.

 

I have a 2007 R12RT with the Beemer alarm installed. It works as claimed but the motion sensor is terribly insensitive. You'd practically have to knock the bike over for the thing to pick up motion! A very hard jostle is barely enough to set it off.

 

Is there any way to adjust the sensitivity of the motion sensor?
