fueling

Hi guys:

Had my RT for 12 days now and I am wondering how many folks have removed the rubber insert from their gas tank filler point ( or if its possible). I cant seem to fill my tank equally every time. If the nozzle shuts off by itself there looks like there is more room for fuel in the tank, so I fill till the fuel is level with the rubber. Not sure if this is good or not, adds about 3 tenths more fuel, which I guess is not that much but????

Miguel. I took mine out right away. Comes right out with just your finger. Allows at least another half gallon of fuel.

I left mine in. I figure it might be there for a good reason, and I can still fill the tank fully if I have a cooperative service pump.

First off Gratz on the bike they are funn picked mine up in nov 09.....I left mine in and still get a full tank . i see we are right around the corner from each other maby hook up and go for a ride take care and enjoy
