wardyRT Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 I just won a pair of the PIAA H7 Star white bulbs on Ebay ($15.50 fer 2, nice!) and was wondering if anyone else had installed them or something similar in an '05 R1200RT. I had the Extreme White (sounds like I can't dance ) bulb in my '03 GT and it made a noticeable difference at night. Also, how hard is it to remove the bucket on an RT? I want to put in some clear turn signal lenses and an extra accessory port. Lookin' forward to hearing from somebody, thanx. GW Link to comment
SkidMark Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 I had ordered the JDM H7 yellows for one side (not here yet) and was thinking about the star whites for the other side(Alot easier to be noticed). Think I will wait to see if you think they have a noticable difference before I do that. The stockers seem to be pretty bright themselves. Link to comment
steve539 Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 Front bucket is not much trouble but takes a little time given the windshield support structure. Other that some time it is pretty basic. You probably won't need to take off the front bucket to add a power outlet. Link to comment
