What did I do wrong?

I downloaded the v7 for the 2610 and it looks like I have two files, v6 and v7. I was trying to upload the v7 to the 2610 unit and a message was displayed saying not enough room in the C drive. How do I get the v7 update into the unit?

Is the error message related to the card in your 2610 or your computer? If the 2610, what is the capacity of the card? The new maps seem to require less space than the old ones. I think the entire US is about 1.6 megs. After you select all the maps in mapsource, click on transfer to device and it should warn you that you are going to overwrite what is on the card. If you are still having problems, try Garmin tech service. They are very good when you can get through to them.
