BitScribbler Posted October 14, 2005 Share Posted October 14, 2005 Can any of you kind gentlemen (or ladies of course!) advise me on how to adjust the beam on my R1200ST? I am aware of the 3-position lever behind the clocks that adjusts it for pillion etc, but on my first night ride yesterday I discovered that the stealer has set the beam way too low, even on the high setting. I suspect that turning the knurled knob set inside the 3 position lever is the answer, but it's very stiff and I would hate to take some mole-grips to it and break something because I'm wrong! (Incidentally, the light is great! On main beam I swear it's better than my car.) Link to comment
jaySTrider Posted October 14, 2005 Share Posted October 14, 2005 It is the knurled knob you use to adjust the main beam. Do make sure that your adjustment lever is in the horizontal position though. Link to comment
