Kinsley Posted October 11, 2005 Share Posted October 11, 2005 I looked for and found what I thought was the optional accessory plug taped to the frame on the front left side, but when I took the cap off I realized the male end of the accessory plug I already have will not fit. Did they change the plug, or did I find some diagnostic plug? Waiting for the brainpower on this board before snipping wires. Link to comment
MattS Posted October 11, 2005 Share Posted October 11, 2005 You've found the GPS power plug that fits the kit for the BMW Navigator system. You could grab some power from this, but it's probably rated to switch off at much less (how much is the question) than the 5A that the sockets together are rated for. The front socket kit includes a loom of wire that goes back to the underseat socket assembly. Link to comment
