fatbob Posted October 5, 2005 Share Posted October 5, 2005 I think it was late 2003 that the twin spark came out, and I do not believe any of the GS series got "Linked" Brakes, but I could be mistaken. They were servo assisted starting in 2002, I think. Bob Link to comment
Odin Posted October 6, 2005 Share Posted October 6, 2005 They got the twin spark in '04. Servo assist came in '04. The brakes are like the RT-P where the front does both front and rear and the rear only activates the rear. Link to comment
hindsight Posted October 7, 2005 Share Posted October 7, 2005 The twin spark came in 04 and the servo assist in 03. My 03 GS Adventure is the single spark but it does have the servo assisted partially linked brakes. Front brake lever actuates front and rear, rear brake pedal actuates rear only.
