Motors
Realizing that it's a new unit, does anyone have any experience with the "new" Navigator II Plus? Is it worth the high price tag? And how much better is it than the original Nav II? TIA Motors Link to comment
ClearwaterBMW
there are mnay threads about this very topic/might be worth doing a search i have the nav ii on my '05 GS... it is a nice unit/the motorcycle cradle helps a lot with gloved fingers the PLUS version really just means that you get a "free" 2GB CF card PRELOADED with all of GARMINS CITY NAVIGATOR files for the United States and Canada there MIGHT be some improved internals.... no one is really sure about that the unit is very nice is it worth the extra money from what you can buy a 2610 for..... so cheap these days? that is only something you can answer it was to me/maybe not to many others here is a picture of my GS now.... with the garmin 376C ALSO mounted both are wonderful units greg Link to comment
Motors
Hi Greg, Thanks for the response. Didn't know you could read TWO GPS's at the same time! You are truely talented! Like the way you mounted the H2O heater, too. I do believe the BMW Navigator has a longer (three years?) warranty then the Garmin. Thanks for the poop. Motors Link to comment
ClearwaterBMW
well, i'm sure the only thing i've proven is that you can spend (waste.... a matter of opinion, i guess) money on 2 GPS's for one bike.... not sure i will really read them i guess i should still pay attention to the road ahead and the world around me greg Link to comment
GordonB
I'm glad to see you're doing your part by having an energy efficient water heater Link to comment
