I have a 1150 and am wondering how others have mounted it. I did a search for a year back but the only link that I found is no longer valid. Link to comment

I had concerns raised by other posters about the rotary hard drive. to offset those I mounted mine (w Ram Mount) on a BMW shelf with 1/2" foam under, here it is: http://xs.to/xs.php?f=MotoMounts.jpg&h=xs46&d=05371 I had mine replaced because I screwed up, by bending the pins in the rear. Careful when you insert the plug. It's great in the car and/or boat. Good luck with it... Link to comment

JohnNorCal Posted October 16, 2005 Author Share Posted October 16, 2005 It looks like you have a thumb screw of some kind that keeps it in the mount. My unit just has the tilt/lock piece of plastic. Did you add the screw? Link to comment
