Road Pilot vs. Z6 for 1150RT

Good afternoon,

 

I am trying to decide which tyres to get for my RT. I would appreciate your opinions and input.

 

Road Pilot vs. Z6 for 1150RT

 

Usage : Primary and only vehicle 85% city cmmute/15%touring

Conditions : All weather, including a lot of riding under rain

Rider : 5' 11" 170lbs.

Standard Equip :Saddle bags (one has rain gear&tyre plug kit at all times and the other has brief case with small computer)

Location :Austin, TX

 

How do you experienced riders compare the two for long life and better wet grip? And what COLD pressure do you prefer?

 

One thing got my attention is Z6 does not have any patterns (unlike PR) in the center, it is just flat… How does that affect the wet grip and how can you tell the condition of the ware without any dept to measure?
