During that period, and before, bikes larger than around 150cc were technically illegal in Taiwan. However, next to the place I worked, was a motorcycle shop that featured many BIG bad fast sport bikes. Apparently they only came out at late at night when it was possible to use the highways with little concern for the law. I never saw any big bikes on the road, but once in a while, in the wee hours of the morn, I would see the bikes being brought back to their "display purposes only" location. Apparently the law has changed... Also, based on this picture ( http://www.pbase.com/jac1375/image/46260771 ), Jacques definately looks to be either police or military... So maybe the law has not changed... I like how the cases match the bike. Is that a custom job? Link to comment
