r1150rt shift linkage

Hi could someone post a picture where it show the breakdown of the linkage of the shifter 04 rt mine bottoms out on the top frame pannel in second and sometime does not make a clean clunk and there is plenty of room on the bottom portion of the cutout pannel. I tried to adj it, does that threaded round pipe turn when the lock nut is loose? Thanks Clint.
