David_S
Being the lazy guy that I am I decided to bring the RT wheels to work and try our new auto tire machine on the RT wheels. It works great but I had to remove one front brake rotor to use it. Still easier than spooning them on. I have the service manual at home but want to get everything assembled here where my tools are and wondered if someone could tell me the torque specs for the front rotor bolts? TIA Link to comment
planepaul
David, The CDROM gives an initial torque value of 12 NM (in a cross pattern, of course), and then a final of 24 NM. They specify a locking agent be used. Paul in CA '05 R1200RT '98 XR400R Other vintage Link to comment
