Occaisionally when the bike is warm (well, more than just 'warm') I'll pull in the clutch (yes, the side stand is up and kill switch not engaged) hit the start button and...nada. Shift into neutral, try again, and Voila; engine runs. In practical terms, this isn't really a problem, obviously, but it puzzles me what could cause this, and if it portends some future wire, sensor, or system failure? Link to comment
Jim Moore Posted September 18, 2005 Share Posted September 18, 2005 I'll bet your clutch switch is going bad. They wear out occasionally. Some people replace them. I jumpered the wires into the clutch lever housing. Either way will fix the problem. Link to comment
