Nice n Easy Rider
Anyone familiar with route 25 from the Asheville NC area over to the Williamsburg KY area? It looks to be about the same distance as slabbing it on I-40/I-75 but presumably slower because of the twisties and towns (although not too many). Question is what are the road conditions and how much more saddle time might be required. Link to comment
randy
parts of that road are actually very nice. however if you have time from asheville, go west to NC 209/US40 Go north on 209 (one of my top 5 roads) to Hot springs NC, then jump over to 208 and run up to greenville, TN. Pick up 70 to rogersville, then stay on 70 to jonesville. however that is not a very "short" route to the BRR. if you need to make time and want to stay off the hwy. 25 is probably your best bet.
