ddreger
I received a letter as an "owner of a BMW motorcycle equipped with integral ABS" from BWM USA. They are replacing several pages of the operators manual to state that under conditions of frequent heavy use of the brakes in conjunction with a low battery the ABS can become temporarily disabled. They report that this has only occurred during very heavy usage as is the case with aggressive brake demonstrations or aggressive rider training. They say that this condition is not known to have occurred under normal riding conditions. They are offering a free inspection of the ABS system through April 30, 2006. Keep a look out for the letter. Best, Doug Link to comment
