Paul De
Familiar story.... a nail in the real tire lead to 2 new tires and new break pads all around. The front pads for my ‘99 R1100RT have a bevel on the friction material on one side. I am assuming that this goes on the lower side of the caliper as is would seem that it is to help keep the pad flat when the caliper squeezes the disk rotating into the leading edge of the pads. Right? Link to comment
