cluch disk cheap

I need an alternative to the expensive oem clutch disk. where and how much .Thanks too you for taking the time to answer me.Peter.

The only alternative I am aware of is actually more expensive than the factory disk. Might want to check with Beemer Boneyard and see what they have on hand.

 

I would shop for a pressure plate and flywheel as well. Rarely does a clutch disk wear out without at least some damage to those components.

I am told that the plates wear unevenly from inside to out, so a new clutch disk will be pressed unevenly between the plates, causing potential slippage and uneven wear. I think I recall that there is a company that will machine the plates to bring them back to spec.

Don't know what an OEM clutch costs, but I'm looking at these folks next.

Yeeha those are twice the stock price ,yikes. they look cool ,I mean they look like they would do the trick.at $325. plus shipping they better!!!!!!!!!!!!! only dead fish go wit the flow!Like it.
