SinNH Posted September 10, 2009 Share Posted September 10, 2009 Thanks. Anybody know the max we can fuse the factory kit accessory female outlet? The factory kit fuses it at 8 amps,looks like the wire is number 14 AWG so is seems like 15 amps would be about it. Steve Link to comment
T__ Posted September 10, 2009 Share Posted September 10, 2009 Steve, I ran both my 1100 & 1150 at a 15 amp fuse with no problems.. The actual outlet on the older BMW’s is rated at 15 amps.. Unfortunately the later 1200 hexheads only have small pin 10 amp outlets.. Twisty Link to comment
