Help need in LA area

The advrider folks are sponsoring yet another rider from another part of the world to come to the US for a ride - this time a guy from china. I didn't see the thread until recently, but I'm trying to get my bike ready for use by Lu, rather than the only alterative, which is transporting a bike down from Seattle. However, due to my recent back surgery, I am totally unable to service the bike. Is there someone in SoCal who would be willing to contribute some time to the cause and come over and do a basic service plus brake pad swap and brake bleed? I've got all the parts, I'm just not allowed to lift anything heavier than a coffee cup. It's an '02 R1150GS (servo-less), so the brake bleed is a simple thing (relatively).

Link to thread about the ride is here: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=495330

One warning - I have no garage. That said, you are welcome to come get the bike and parts and ride elsewhere with it to do the service if you have a garage or, better yet, an air conditioned garage.

My contact info is on the last page of that first thread up there. It has email and phone number (I'm cornercarver over there)

We have a garage available in Studio City and a method to get the bike there. It is currently in South Pasadena. Either location is fine for doing the work

I may be able to donate some time. A mechanic I am not but give me an "Idiots Guide to _______ Maintenance" and I can follow instructions with the best of them. Pm me if you like.
