rascalfair
I've a 1200 Gt....recently injured my left ankle and having difficulty managing the shift lever. Anybody know of a platform heel and toe shifting device that I can fit to it? Thanks in advance... Link to comment
jskene
I think that would be a difficult thing to design for this bike. There is no easily accessible "shift axle", like the old Hondas had, to which you could attach a heel/tow shifter plate. My suggestion is to strap a metal or hard plastic plate that protrudes from your instep to allow you to pull up on the shifter. Link to comment
tallman
For a lot of "driving" around town etc.. put it in 2nd gear when you start and you're good. Link to comment
arebee
Just wondering... I'm looking at a GT myself, how is it doing? Any issues? Link to comment
Caseyd
Not sure if this will help or not, but I recall reading about an air shifter kit that would allow you to use push putton on the handle bars to shift with. I am not sure of the cost, but I recall seeing one at the drag strip a couple of years ago. I am sure it is more expensive than you might want, but if it is that or not ride - maybe it is not so high. Good luck, Casey Link to comment
