BeemerBill
Has anyone had any experience with the Wunderlich Low Seat on the RT? I'm thinking about trying one but would like to hear from any current/past owners before taking the plunge. I currently have a Sargent low, but it doesn't really work for my old backside. Any thoughts, opinions or loose change would be appreciated. Link to comment
Iron Al
I had one on my old RT for a short time. I couldn't tell the difference between it and the stock seat other than the fact it looked better. No additional comfort for me at all. I didn't think it was all that much lower either. DiggerJim
I've got a thread going here in Oilheads: http://bmwsporttouring.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/558881/an/0/page/0#558881 Laura from NJ offered to let me try her Wunderlich which she says is shorter & they claim to be 1.5" (40mm) shorter than the standard R1150RT seat. I was giving that some thought too. It's supposed to be 1" lower than stock. I've got a 30" inseam and I'd like to flat foot. Jim Link to comment
Laura
Love it! I've had mine for 20,000 miles. Any questions, ask away. Link to comment

Jim, The Sargent low is 1 inch or so lower than stock, but it is also a bit wider. For me, the added width negates the drop in height. With your 30 inch inseam, you should be OK. The seat is a bit hard for my liking and that is the real reason that I am looking for a replacement. Link to comment
