ChrisE
I've had my new R1200RT for just over a week now. I've done about 400 miles, not as many as I'd like to, but still that the most miles I've racked up on any of my street bikes in quite a while. Anyway, my problem is the stock windshield, on a warm to hot day, 80 degree plus, the windshield just doesn't allow enough air to hit the riders chest area to aid in cooling. I have a perforated jacket, but I find myself standing on the pegs every five minutes to get a blast of air to cool me down. Does anybody know is somebody makes a lower screen for summer use. Whip
I found using the Sahara highway pegs increased the air flow through out my body....leaning back and putting my feet on the pegs sent the air right through my jacket...it was great..... Link to comment
