I suggest you both dial it back a little bit. Knowing both of you...I believe that Matt never intended his statement as a personal attack. Ken, obviously you can choose to believe whatever you'd like, but I suggest you give Matt the benefit of the doubt for the sake of your friendship.

During President Carter’s administration, Walter Cronkite moderated a radio call in show where citizens of the US could call the White House and ask President Carter a question.

 

FCC censors debated on whether to have a 5 second delay in case someone’s language got “colorful.” In the end it was decided not to have the delay. The censors allowed that while someone might swear at the president, NO ONE would dare swear at Walter Cronkite. Such was the measure of the man.
