FNST YR
I just bought a used Russell leather seat and both me and my wife are having problems sliding forward on the seat. We didn't have this problem on my previous bike which had a leather Russell seat. Does anyone know of something that I can use to clean the seat that might help prevent us from sliding forward on it? gezerbike
I use both the Lexol cleaner and conditioner on mine and I don't experience that problem. Another thought.....do you have seat jacks on your RT ? RT's were notorious for riders sliding forward so someone came up with this solution and I installed them on mine to help alleviate the problem....they work and only cost about $ 10 or so from Cyclegadgets Link to comment
bmwdave152
The sliding on my Russell stopped after a few rides. I use mink oil to condition it. Link to comment
DGuy
Lexol is highly regarded in reviews of leather care products. I've been using it for years with great results on saddles and riding gear. Link to comment
John Dickens
There's a whole range of Nikwax products for cleaning, conditioning and proofing leather. Link to comment
