Haynes Posted June 29, 2009 Share Posted June 29, 2009 It belongs there. If you remove it, your brake calliper will be misaligned and your ABS sensor gap will be excessive. If you do a search you'll find lots of past discussion on this. Link to comment
Mr. Frank Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 The spacer keeps the wheel from sliding on the final drive and loosening the bolts. You'll note that it has a non slick surface. It's a safety feature. Link to comment
