Limecreek
I've had my bike back for 4 weeks now and the latest 600 service has come and gone without further incident. If you've been counting; that makes 3 break in periods for the big blue whale. I’m over the shock and humiliation and look forward to turning my little trip souvenir into a nice lamp. My son in law is a welder and an artist of sorts. He promises me a lamp nice enough for my office...a $2,668 lamp. Live and learn…live and learn. Looks pretty bad, eh? Can you imagine what my wife was saying to me while taking this picture? Link to comment

swmckinley
Ya hANNABONE......thats my riding partner Anybody that has chacter and backbone to admit his mistake in a public forum like this can be my wingman anytime any place. I am sure that he has saved someone else who has read the thread an engine rebuild sometime in the future. I know in the past when changing oil on my RT's I haven't given the oil filter much thought and that now I will take extra care when changing my oil on the KGT. Link to comment
