Jerry_75_Guy
I'm getting ready to tackle my 48k service, and though I haven't taken a look at it yet, given it's age, I suspect it might be prudent, or even necessary, to rebuild the Hall sensor, which I've heard may have issues as it ages (wiring insulation, IIRC). There was a writeup in BMWMOA mag. some time back, but I don't remember which issue. Can anyone direct me to a good tutorial (especially one with pics) to help walk me through the process? Thanks! Jerry_75_Guy
You the 'go to' guy for the day John! Thanks again; that looks to be exactly what I need!! Link to comment
smiller
Yep, that's the bible. FWIW you probably don't need to do the entire rebuild thing, rather just replace the harness wiring with appropriate high-temp insulation and call it a day. Link to comment
