ShovelStrokeEd Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Just about any commercially available gear oil. I use Mobil 1 75w140 full synthetic and have found it to ease shifting and quite possibly to have improved fuel consumption. Link to comment
gefish Posted August 29, 2005 Share Posted August 29, 2005 I use Redline synthetic in my '96K11RS with great results. Mobile One is also good stuff. Have heard of some of the very early K's weeping synthetic past the seals. Maybe someone with greater experiance can address that. Link to comment
Trinity Posted August 30, 2005 Share Posted August 30, 2005 I've also been using Redline heavy duty synth for a couple of years. With the new fluid, the ease in shifting was VERY noticeable. One quart will do both tranny AND rear diff. YMMV Link to comment
