Ben Peeples
What a great bike. 30300 miles. The shocks are gone but the ohlins are supposed to arrive today. Other than that it has been the normal service items (air filters and plugs), tires and gas. After the GPS, and V1, the torbinators are the best add on,and least for me. No turbulence from the windshield and it has the wind hitting the top of my helmet. The purpose of this post was just to say I think BMW got it right with this one and I feel blessed to own such a fine machine. Ben. Link to comment

Ben Peeples
In my tank bag on top of the pile. Works great. I often travel with several other V1's and have not missed a hit that they received. Trying now to mount one on my RC51. I use the autocom on the GS and hear it in my helmet. I tried the visual velcroed (sp-?) to the windshield, no joy. Plan to try the LED extra bright that Aerostich sells for the RC. A lot of very low speed limits in my area and plenty of radar. Ben.
