delphi sky fi busted

Make very sure the lock is in place for the cradle. I could have swore I locked mine in today. But on the way home I hit the edge of the rodd where they cut it to lay new stuff nad the Sky Fi popped out of the cradle and before I could catch it it bounced off my lap onto the pavement and busted into about 8 pieces. Damn it that was only about 3 months old. Now it cost me a little over a buck to replace. Bad lesson.

any way, if you kave one be sure to make sure it is locked

Bummer. The cradles are made for a nice smooth cage. I've had mine pop out a couple of times, but always caught it. On a trip earlier in the summer, I learned that if you'll put a foam earplug between the reciever and the cradle, the connection stays tight w/ no static and it's more securely locked.
