AZBaldur Posted August 24, 2005 Share Posted August 24, 2005 My '03 R1150R (22K miles) has a new sound: a low whistle in the exhaust. The exhaust puffs are pretty healthy, and this whistle seems to come with every puff. Are other R-bikes doing this as well, or what's going on? A partially collapsed cat converter perhaps? DasLimpet Posted August 24, 2005 Share Posted August 24, 2005 Sounds like an exhaust leak somewhere. Check the gaskets where the pipe hooks up to the engine, then any exhaust clamps between there and the cat converter. Good luck! Link to comment
