NE Tec Daze

NE Tec Daze once again proved a great opportunity for all of us in the North East to get together, catch up and renew friendships and get down to some serious wrenching. Paul (SAMSAR) and his family once again showed their generosity by hosting this event at their house and in their spacious and well equiped garage and driveway.

Rain throughout this region slowed some of the participants down as riding conditions changed throughout the weekend depending where you lived. I was rained out traveling from New York City so I came by car. Riders more local to Pauls location had a less difficult weather picture.

There was no "rubber chicken" award this yeare as most wrenching went as scheduled with no major mistakes. Last year Steve (Bar None) won the award for mistakes above and beyond. This year he got everythng done on his R1200RT without major incident.

Projects ranged from HID low bean install, to spline lube (AKA Spinal Tap) to valves and TBS, and rear license plate brake light LED install.

Despite the rain forecast the day actually turned out to be quite nice and a good time was had by all.

We also talked about the un-rally in August in NH and look forward to seeing as many of the rest of this board as can make it.
