dthorp29
The LED brake light strip on the back of my topcase is coming off. Apparently the adhesive strip does not do well in rain, humidity and heat. Any suggestions? I seem to recall someone mentioning an automotive glue, but I could not find the thread. Link to comment
Ken H.
Not glue, double-sided tape. Not the usual stuff you find in hardware stores, but the 3M stuff specifically sold for holding on automotive trim strips. (It's very thin and black.) Check with an auto-body repair supplies distributor. Link to comment
Murf
Acrylic adhesive tape is what it's called, 3m calls it auto emblem adhesive tape...very tacky stuff. Clean both surfaces with alcohol or laquer thinner and let dry before using. Link to comment
