SR28 (East Lake Tahoe) May Road Closures, and related construction

For those of you that will be travelling into the Lake Tahoe area between now and July 2009, please be aware that SR28 is currently undergoing construction that can result in 30-40 minute delays due to flagging activity.

 

Beginning May 2, SR28 will be completely shut down during the week, but non-restricted on the weekends.

 

Beginning May 22, Flagging activity and related delays will resume until project completion scheduled for July 2.

Thanks, Michael. As I recall, that's the one that goes around the northeast shore of Lake Tahoe. It seems like they've been wrestling with that area forever! I guess we better not plan on even getting to Sand Harbor until July.
