Now that the place and time is announced. Wouldn't it be great if the 2010 UN was the weekend before or after and in the same general area, Pacific Northwest? That way, folks from a long way away could double dip on one trip.

What say you?

Redmond site was great for the MOA rally a few years back, lots of folks thought the site and the rally was one of the best.

I'll be making my plans!

I was there.... that goes way back. Gleno, T-Roe, Chris, and Fernando to name a few, great BBQ and if I remember correctly Carrie the founder of this board was presented a BMW Clock which probably still hangs in his dealership at Marin BMW.

I recognize Larry, Moe and Curley, but can't get the rest. You're all too young looking. When was that, 2001?

Well, according to Google Maps from Chapel Hill:

Driving directions to Redmond, OR

2,738 mi – about 1 day 17 hours

Looks like I'll have to either start to work on my endurance or plan for a long vacation.

You have over a year to get wheels :)

Only 2693 miles for me. If combined with a UN I'll be there, but the UN is first priority! Always "God willing and the creeks don't rise"

2837 mi by highway avoidance, 2818 mi by highway toll.

I agree with Paul if I can get away. When can we plan a Pied piper?

Just terrific!! As a fulltime RVer, I move around. So this year, rally is in the East, and I'm spending the summer in the West. Rally in the West - July 2010, and I'm spending the summer in the East. Oh well.....

The one unidentified rider is the one person I also cannot identify.

Anybody???

Weren't Solar Tom and Gleno on the ride? Did you guys take this picture while they were being stopped and cited by the cop who saw YOU guys speeding, but nailed them because they were last in line?

As for who the rider (third from left) is, I think it's Wurty before the botched transgender surgery.

This is the waiting while Gleno got his ticket photo.

It was a real kick hearing all the V1s on the parked bikes trigger as a CHP came down the highway (from the left in the photo) trying to nab the rest of the group. (All the other radar detectors present eventually triggered...)

Obviously we were spared due to clean and virtuous living!
