TGarner
A friend of mine has a 1979 R100/7. The headlight is very dim and the voltmeter is reading way high when the enine is running. I would think the headlight would be very bright if the voltage was running that high. I was going to start looking for a bad ground conncetion but I thought someone else here may have encoutnered this problem and had some advice. Link to comment
T__
Toker, well, if you have high voltage TO the light (check that not just the system voltage),, & the light itself is good,, then you are probably looking at a grounding problem.. Do a voltage drop between the battery (+) post & headlight power terminal.. Then do a voltage drop from the battery (-) post to the headlight ground terminal.. Might be giving something up on both ends.. Twisty Link to comment
