I recently purchased a R12RT and since owning it, have really asorbed a wealth of information from this very knowledgable group. After several years of not owning a bike I returned in 1996 with the purchase of a two R1100RTs. The RTs were sold in 1999 and a K1200LT was purchased soon after. In 2001 a R1150GS was added to the stable. It was sold soon after buying the R12RT this year. The K12LT has over 40K on it and is still running great. Had a few growing pains with it that were fixed. Turned into a great bike. Hope I will be able to say the same about the RT at 40K. I enjoy doing the servicing and maintenance on the bikes almost as much as riding them. Happy to be here.
