-patrick
Has anyone replaced the two H3 fog lamp bulbs with a HID kit? This would seem to be "less illegal" then replacing the headlight bulb. How did it turn out and which kit did you use? I've been thinking of ordering from these folks: http://www.xenondepot.com/ Best, -patrick -- 2004 R1150RT 1994 R1100RSL 1968 TR6R Link to comment
beemerman2k
Great question. Here's another: can I replace my PIAA 1100XX lights on the mount from CycleGadgets.com with Xenon units? Link to comment
skinny_tom (aka boney)
I replaced the low beam with an HID. The fog light pattern is very focused and provides a horizontal "slot" of light that lands shy of the horizon on your low beam. It will also cost you half as much for the low, if you only buy one bulb/ballast or split a kit. With the HID low beam, I can hardly tell if my fog lights are even on. I split a kit with another board member, so the cost was pretty good, and I have no idea where it came from. Sorry... Link to comment
