Jerry_75_Guy
I recently bought a Big Mak rack, and have been in search of a good used Big Mak bag to go on it. I noted that a Marsee bag is offered for sale in the classifieds, and a Big Mak platen has been modified to accept the Marsee bag. This made me wonder; what other makes and models of tankbags, with or without a little modification, would work well on a Big Mak rack? Several of the Marsee models have features equal to or better than Big Mak bags, but I really like the "flip up" feature of the Big Mak rack. A hybrid setup might be very nice. Link to comment
johnlt
I think many tank bags could be modified by sewing a "pocket" on the bottom so it would accept the Big Mac platten. I'm thinking about doing just that to a Wolfman Explorer bag for long trips. I use the small Big Mac for normal riding and it holds plenty for me but would like a larger size, especially with side and end pockets for snacks etc. for long trips. My thoughts Link to comment
