Dzus update

Jason and Julie from KurveyGirl.com (bike stuff, not porn) came up last Sat. and spent a few hours going over the plastic on my bike. They took a bunch of measurements and, while the three bolts on the tank cannot be "dzused", they're confident that they will come out with a kit for the rest. In 4-6 weeks they'll come up again to test fit stuff and do final checks. The heads will be black and Allen and the small wrench necessary to turn them will be included.

Still hunting for someone with a 1200RT to contact them in PHX so they can get measurments on that model.

More when available.

Dzus is a type of faster thats more common int he aerosapce industry. They make a lot of 3/4 turn and quick panel moutn fasteners. Good stuff. They were recently aquired by Southco, a more commercial panel fastner, handle, hing, misc harware company. Good stuff from both places. Nu sure why anyone one want to Dzus their fasnters. If you use the 3/4 turns, they can be a PITA to make sure they are engauged right. Not a very good application to me but to each their own. I can take my fairing off in a matter of a few minutes and thats just after doing it a couple of times.
