Ben Peeples
Anyone have suggestions for a source of aftermarket shocks in NC or SC? I rode the bike two up this weekend in the mountains and it did not handle like it used to. 30,000 miles on it so I guess it is time. 2nd question. How long does it take a semi-competent to replace the rear shock? 3rd. What model Ohlins do I need for the R1200GS? Thanks Ben. Link to comment
TMH
Ben, I just worked with Hard Racing LLC on a new Ohlins for the R1200C. I'll have to say that they were a great bunch of folks to work with. They are located at: 224 Rolling Hill Rd. Suite 7A Mooresville, NC 28117 And their web address is: http://www.hardracing.com/Home.htm Not affiliated, just a satisfied customer. Tom Link to comment
jjohnson24
The Ohlins USA distributor is in Hendersonville. See if they can help you. Link to comment
pedro cerveza
Have you talked to Matt at Touring Sport in Greenville? Link to comment
Kenny2
Ben, Installing is 'simple'. It took the morning to get them on and adjusted, prelim.... Then it is oh...two maybe three day road trip to "get them right"!!!! So just tell the boss you'll be back---then hit the twisties. Link to comment
Ben Peeples
Thanks, Ordered from Hard racing yesterday. They were a delight to deal with and the best price I could find in the limited time I had to search. Ben. Link to comment
