Rinkydink
I took the plunge and got a new Ipod Nano. I downloaded Itunes 8.0 as instructed but it obviously didn't download completely. Itunes won't recognize my Ipod although Windows (XP) does. The message I received says, "The software for communication with the Ipod isn't installed correctly. Please reinstall Itunes to install the Ipod software." Okay easy enough, but when I try to do that or even try to uninstall Itunes from the control panel so I can start over I get this message, "Another installation in in progress. You must complete that installation before continuing this one." For the life of me I can't find any other installation in progress. I feel really dumb at this point. On a side note my son had an earlier version of Itunes already loaded on this CPU and the last time he used it it worked fine. Matter of fact his playlist is still accessable. Of course he is off to college so he can't help me. Any help would really be appreciated. Link to comment
