Pocahontas John Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 Trying to find a paint to redo bag covers, the paint code under the seat is 847 but paint suppliers can not find anything. The Biarritz blue has been used for a few years on cars and bikes, I would think it could be matched at my local body shop. Any advice on the subject Link to comment

Roadwolf Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 I had the same issue when trying to obtain some Graphite Gray touch up paint for my 06 RT and the dealer I go to says that all BMW touch up paints are no longer available for sale due to environmental regs (believe he said of California's new tougher environmental standards as to why BMW is not selling it here anymore)... the only option given to me to find the paint I needed that would work successfully was Hammersly BMW in Roanoke... my dealer sends all their body repair work that involves painting to them.
