Wt & ammount of oil in final drive, valve clearances, Wt of engine oil and anything else I should be looking at on one of these. Where's the oil filter located? Paul Mihalka Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 I don't have oil volumes in my head. Valve clearance was .006" for intake, .008" for exhaust. The oil filter is on right side front of the engine, under a triangular cover with 3 bolts. Watch out for the O-ring gasket in there. If pinched the engine will not have oil pressure. Idle 600-880 rpm plugs Bosch w200t30 2 ea Intake .15mm/.006" Exhaust .20mm/.008" compression 130psi gear oil 90w .8ltr/1.7pts rear drive 90w .15ltr/.32pts final drive 90w .25ltr/.53pts fork oil 10w .28/.59 per leg petcock screens remove every 10k miles clean crud, dump water from tank. good luck MB> Link to comment
