A month ago a friend turned me onto Corner Gas. As a way to share the love I'm providing the three youtube links that are the first episode of this series. Trust me... Take the time to at least watch the first few minutes of the first link...

Play in the order listed.....

I watched the first one....I don't know what to make of it. It was funny, witty, it was clean without any vulgar references to genitalia. Certainly not the stuff of Hollywood.

I liked it, thanks.

That's why it will never make it on TV. It was clean funny sarcastic and witty.

Uh, they just finished filming their 6th (and final) season... CTV wanted more but the writer/director/EP felt it was time to end it.

Corner Gas airs in the USA on WGN America at 10:30pm PST (1:30am EST)

Yep and Seasons 1 though 4 are available on DVD.

My wife and I have the DVR recording any/every episode it can find. The episodes pretty much stand on their own so one can jump in at any point and enjoy the fun. I wish more programs were this much fun without being crude or mean.

I have been watching Corner Gas for years , it is on SBS weekdays at 5:30 Pm .

The "Pilates class" episode was brilliant . Everyone was asking why you would go to a class about the guy who killed Jesus .

A show I also enjoyed for years was the Red Green Show .So many ways to use duct tape and his creative inventions with the mid engined car , the energy efficient pickup that ran on corn that was grown in the back and his automatic dogwash.

Both these shows appeal to the Australian sense of humour

Five is out too now. We just ordered it.

We've been enjoying Corner Gas for years. Brent Butt is a genius! (We had a Canadian Bell dish when we lived in the US.)

Another great newer Canadian comedy show is "Little Mosque on the Prairie". In season three now. Can't see that show ever being syndicated in the US though!
