madness522
I have noticed lately that the clutch engages very close to the end of its travel and there is very little free play at the end. I can't see a way to adjust it at the handle bar. Where and how is it adjusted? I was expecting to see a nut on the cable that adjusts the tension but it isn't there. Looks like it comes out of the grip housing and makes an turn and goes down out of sight. Help! Link to comment
Stan Walker
If you are talking about the '04 RT, it's a self adjusting liquid cable. Stan Link to comment
madness522
The sight glass shows the level just above the center dot. How would removing or add more change the engagement point? Any idea? Link to comment
Stan Walker
It won't. If your bike has a different engagement point from other similar models then it would indicate a failure somewhere that should be repaired under warrantee by the dealer. There is no adjustment other than the simple lever angle set by rotating the little wheel on the lever. Stan Link to comment
