The Regional Saddle Sore 1000s are back for 2009!

There are four dates in 2009 available to run a SS1000 ride:

* May 16th

* June 27th

* September 26th

* October 3rd

Here are the basics:

* The MTF will be the sponsor of the event

* The MTF long distance committee will be managing the overall event.

* The MTF volunteers will help you fill out all the paperwork for certification onsite. They will also serve as your witness and verify the certification requirements. This will help in speeding up the paperwork.

* We will provide electronic copies of approved flyers for handing out.

If you want to review what the regionals looked like in 2007, check out this link . The webpage from 2007 also may answer a lot of questions you may have.

As with all things MTF, volunteers are the people that make the wheels spin. There is a lot of work to do to put all this together, so please be patient.

Most locations will have one or two possible routes: 1) an easy all interstate route for beginners; and 2) an in-state route. All routes will be reviewed and approved by the LDC prior to publishing.

Please be on the lookout for the updated webpage. Contact your local site manager if you are interested in participating in the ride.
